Cao Zhentao 曹镇韬

Guo Jingjing

Cao Zhentao specializes in rendering legal services in the fields of foreign direct investment, corporate governance, mergers and acquisition and tax. He obtained his bachelor degree of International economic law from Nanjing Normal University in 2011 and he is currently a MA candidate in Comparative and International Law at Johns Hopkins University – Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies. He intends to go to Europe for advanced studies in tax law after obtaining his Master’s degree.

Claudia Vernotti 韦茉莉

Claudia was previously an intern at the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Claudia Vernotti is working toward her Master’s in International Relations with a concentration in International Economics at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center. Upon graduation, expected in January 2014, Claudia plans to build a long-term career in China in the field of consulting or business analysis.
韦茉莉曾在中国欧盟商会实习。现为霍普金斯大学-南京大学中美中心国际关系硕士,方向为国际经济学。预期2014年1月份毕业,茉莉 计划在中国的咨询行业或业务分析行业中建立一个长期的职业生涯。

Lauren Elizabeth Gloudeman 古罗兰

Lauren Elizabeth Gloudeman graduated from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center in 2012 and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts degree in International Relations and International Economics with concentrations in China Studies and Emerging Markets at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). A native Virginian, Lauren graduated from the University of Virginia in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Chinese Language and Literature.

Natalie E. Sammarco 桑嘉雯

Natalie E. Sammarco is an MA candidate at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center in Nanjing, China, writing her research thesis (in Chinese) on social media’s impact on China’s new social policy. Before coming to the Center, she was a Chinese instructor at Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, Connecticut and graduated from Middlebury College (2009) with a degree in International Studies: East Asian Politics.

Yang Qian 杨倩

Yang Qian is from Huaihua, Hunan province in China. She is currently a second-year Masters student majoring in International Studies at the Johns Hopkins University-Nanjing University Center. She completed her undergraduate degree at Northeastern University with a major in English.

Zhang Chaojun 张朝俊

Zhang Chaojun is an LLM candidate at the East China University of Political Science and Law, with a concentration in Financial Law and Foreign investment Law, and is currently a certificate student at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center.

Stephanie Tao 陶思敏

Stephanie Tao is a ’13 Certificate student at the Hopkins-Nanjing Center.

Phil Bernasek 白博飞

Phil Bernasek currently is Associate Account Strategist at Google in Mountain View, CA. In this position, Phil works supporting small and medium sized businesses that are advertising online with Google. Prior to joining Google, Phil graduated from the Hopkins Nanjing Center in 2012 with a Certificate in Chinese and American Studies, and from Colgate University in 2011 with a BA in Economics and Chinese.

Pang Tao 庞涛

Mr. Pang Tao serves as a full-time lawyer in Fangben Law Office. He specializes in rendering legal services in the fields of foreign direct investment, corporate organization and governance, employment law, contract law, trademark law, litigation, etc. He graduated from Nanjing University Law in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree, and completed the certificate program at Johns Hopkins University – Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies in 2012.
